I <3 icepacks!

My new favorite item... my ice pack! Every since I've started physical therapy Ive have some KILLER pain in my neck. With three kids around I cant take a break every hour to ice my neck so I took a wrap I had from when one of the kids got hurt and wrapped it around the ice pack and my neck and then around like suspenders so I can get up and do things while icing myself, I have to say I probably look like a complete idiot(which is why there is no picture of it- but it gets the job done lol!
On a completely different note we took Jayde to the doctor today, because she has been waking up nonstop at night coughing, in addition to horrible night terrors so the doctor put her on Zyrtec for a week to see if its allergies. She just got over 2 bouts of strep throat so I hope this gets rid of it, the lack of sleep is killing us all! So we should know in about a week whats going on with that.

My middle is 6!

So my middle son Ethan turned 6 yesterday and we celebrated his birthday! After school he opened his presents , and of course loved everything. After that we told him we had to go to the grocery store, and he was fussing the whole time because he wanted to be home play with his new toys and eat dinner. So when we pulled up at CiCi's pizza he was still fussing because he thought we were grocery shopping. (lol) Once he realized where we were at he was super happy. Silly kid actually thought that wed take him grocery shopping on his birthday lol.

Family time atlast!

John had a day off yesterday so we went to the park, we stopped by Krystal's on the way and had lunch at the park. It was nice to get out of the house, the weather was perfect! The kids played for a little while and me and John got to talk some. Jayde also made a friend at the park, which was super cute! Then we went on a SUPER long walk on the nature trail, mid way through was this 3 story tall fort thing and when you go to the top you could see a lot of the park. It was cool looking down , but the fort was too shaky to stay up there long. That and Ethan was being crazy as normal and trying to climb up on things. At the end of the trail was a nature center that I didn't even know was there, but of course it was closed well have to go back when its open because the kids were really interested in it. Then we came home and had ice cream and recovered from the day!Chandler took this picture of me and John.

At the end of the trail there was a nature center (we had no clue it was even there) but of course it was closed- well have to go back another day to check it out.

Messy children

So I spent my whole morning and organizing my youngests room (shes 4). I still cannot believe the amount of mess a child that small can make in such a short period of time! But its done and I can relax for a few before I have to start laundry. Im posting pictures of her room so that I can look back later and go "wow her room CAN be clean!" lol.Thats her room minus the corner with the MASSIVE (and yes I mean massive) tent. I figured I would leave that out of the pictures lol.

First post... Stupid people...

Perfect first post right?
So I decided that I wanted to give back, and make easter baskets for needy kids. As man as I could afford. I had two baskets ready to go, one for a little girl and one for a little boy. So I put a post up on craigslist looking for families in need and then at the end we would decide who needs the baskets more. Well almost immediately people emailed me asking if I accepted donations, of course I said yes because that means more baskets. But then my ad gets flagged. naturally I reposted it and sure enough it gets flagged again. finally the person who was flagging me emailed me, and she thinks that I'm sitting around laughing because these people are in need.
At that point I realized that 99% of the people on Craigslist are absolutely insane. So shes been emailing me back and forth all night. Normally Id just drop it, but since John works late tonight its pretty entertaining to watch her act like a child lol!
Hopefully I will find some families that are in need, because so far the baskets are super cute!
I'll try again tomorrow to find some families.
