Earth Hour

So last night was Earth Hour and for those who don't know Earth hour is where the whole world from 8:00pm to 9:00pm turns off they're lights and saves energy. Even some really large cities, of course my city wasn't one who participated we still did it.
So I spent our hour reading (in little kids terms) Al Gores an Inconvenient Truth. Surprisingly the kids all seems to enjoy it. It was past they're bed time and after I read about the polar bears Ethan was pretty much done with it because he didn't like the idea of all of them being gone. But Chandler was really into it, and at the end of Earth Hour the kids (Chandler and Jayde) wanted to make a video. And if anyone wonders what the earth's sunscreen is, it is the Ozone layer, its pretty much the only way I could describe it where the kids would under stand. Hopefulyl next year more people will participate in Earth Hour.
Heres the website EARTH HOUR
And watch the video, its super cute!

Completely perfect Saturday

Is there such a thing as a perfect Saturday? I think I'm experiencing it. Hell must be freezing, because Ethan's not fussing, Jayde's not whining and Chandler isn't aggravating one of them and December isn't chasing Lucky! It's completely silent! Oh and they're not getting into anything, they're playing nicely. The house is clean, laundry's almost done, I'm still comfortably in my jammies. What else could a mom ask for? Wonder which kid is going to break this perfection? lol.
Talk about a nice start to Spring Break! Lets hope it continues this way. Time to go enjoy life!

Summer Care packages!!!

Please check out WISH UPON A HERO
and see if you cant help donate to making atleast 7 little kids smile this summer.(and hopefully keep the sanity of 7 moms). The care packages will be sent out Right before summer break. Even if you cant afford to be a hero, you can join and ask for a hero.

Spring break fun!

Jayde and Ethan ACTUALLY getting along!
Whats that at the top of the slide? LILLY, she went SUPER fast down the slide and didnt want to get on it again after that one time lol!

Somedays you just want to put a diaper on your head lol!
Clayton making bead necklasses, they turned out super cute, all the kids except Chandler made one. He was too busy wanting to play Halo.

Chandler sat there talking to Lilly for the longest. It was cute, the other kids were playing Whamo darts and moving too fast for me to get a good picture. So far, an ok start to spring break... Its the NEXT week I'm worried about lol... but at least I can blog about my slow decline :P

My sweet sweet little boy!

So we went to the beach for our Easter get together, and we were walking on the beach while Johns dad hid the eggs for the kids. So the kids are loving looking at the shells and picking out special ones, and then Jennifer finds a starfish who's missing one leg. We thought it was dead so we let Ethan have it. When we got back we realized it was still alive, after a lot of thought Ethan finally decides that he wants to take the starfish back to the ocean. He goes to take the starfish out of the baggy to let John take back to the ocean and ANOTHER leg fell off the starfish. He was SO upset! I felt horrible. But John was brilliant and came and picked the starfish and pretended to put it in the sea. It made Ethan feel some better, but the whole ride home he kept saying how sad he was about the starfish. He said he didn't want him to die. poor baby, he can be so sweet and innocent sometimes. He forgot about it tonight (or at least he didn't mention it.) so hopefully hes better with it now.
The kids had a blast at the beach, it was too cold for the water but they loved looking through shells and all the stuff washed up on the beach. heck Ethan even found a pair of Dolche and Gabana sunglasses lol! silly kid. Jayde walked around the whole time with her arms full of seashells for her pen pal out of state that doesn't live near a beach. Chandler kind of just ran along and collected shells for Grandpa.
When we got back they did an easter egg hunt, the kids did a great job I will post pictures tomorrow because I'm going to bed because I'm super tired!!

Easter!

So far so good. I survived the early morning easter basket rush with the kids. Now- will I survive easter day? Ill post pictures later in the day, I have to go put icing on my cupcakes! :D

busy. busy. busy.

I think she got more glitter on her than on the paper!
Mom it itches- Jayde of course it does, your covered in it!
This is the aftermath of theyre art project. Trust me its WAY worse than it looks. The wet papers on the table behind then... the cat jumped up on them and got covered in glitter glue lol!

This is what I did to keep myself busy. I normally wouldnt let them make a huge mess inside but it gives me something to keep busy.
I got a call from mom last night and she told me that her doctor says she has 1-2 years max left. Shes only 45. I think shes lying to me and has much much less time left. Because she is going to the funeral home next week to make her arrangements. So what do you do when when you know someone you love is dyeing, how do you not act different towards them? I kind of wish I didn't know. She is my best friend. it sounds weird I'm sure, but she is.
But before I get emotional again Im going to get my cookies out of the oven. I'm also baking to keep busy...

Easter hunt fun!

We had an easter egg hunt Thursday just me and the girls since the boys had one at school. They did so awesome. not one fight, and they were so sweet.

Talk about running super speed! This is when they realized there was eggs on the side of the house lol.

Happy St Patricks Day!

Sleep over time! and yes ethan sleeps in normal clothes, I think hes anti jammies.
Not really sure why hes looking all crazy. But I did get a progress report from his teacher and he got all E's (for excellent) and hes reading at a level D- which is REALLY awesome. you need a B to pass, and a C is better than B and a D is AWESOME! He such a smart guy.
Matching jammies! (Just so happens I accidentally bought 2 of the same pair off Ebay lol!)
The girls dress all in green for st pattys! I swear, they smile alot lol. Just happens that they dont smile when I make them sit still.
The girls had green eggs and green apple sauce for breakfast today (its a shame it didnt have green ham! that would have been awesome.) Its surprising how much a little food coloring can make a kid want to eat!

He loves me!

So I didn't get a chance to blog about this past week so I'm going to do it now. Ever time we go into the new Target shopping center, I remind John that Peterbrooke chocolatier is open now. And last week as we were entering the shopping center he was in the wrong turn lane to go to Target, naturally I fuss at him to hurry and get in the other lane. But no he continues to turn and go the wrong way- at this point I'm thinking what the hell is he doing. Until he pulls up to Peterbrooke!! Talk about being shocked! Then he told me to get whatever I wanted. OMG! Of course I had to remind him that it costs a TON, he didn't care... thats SO not like him. Any ways it was awesome, I got the chocolate covered popcorn (its by far the best!) and chocolate covered oreos. They were SO good. So its official I have the best husband ever, he might drive me nuts sometimes (which I'm sure I drive him more nuts lol) but hes still the best!

Movie Night!

They wanted to watch Mars Attacks, and stayed awake through most of the movie for once. I thought it was funny that Ethan fell asleep with Jaydes feet in his face lol!! Gotta love movie nights!

Anyone can be a hero. Is it in you?

Please check out WISH UPON A HERO . You can make a diffrence in someone elses live.
Here is the "about" from the wish upon a hero website:

"No wish too large. No hero too small.Wish Upon A Hero was first conceived by founder Dave Girgenti shortly after the September 11th attacks on New York City. From his home in NJ, Girgenti watched as thousands of people posted pictures of missing loved ones throughout the city. He thought there had to be a faster, more organized way to connect people in need. That was the moment in which the idea was born.
Less than five years later, Hurricane Katrina created a similar catastrophic event in New Orleans where hundreds of thousands of people needed immediate help. This time it wasn't just about locating loved ones. Hurricane victims needed everything from healthcare services, food, fresh water, clothing and shelter.
It became clear that Wish Upon a Hero needed to become more than an idea. Over the next two years, Girgenti exhausted every resource at his disposal to create an online community that offered a platform for people to help people. Working under the mantra of “No wish too large and no hero too small,” Girgenti created www.wishuponahero.com, which launched in September 2007. This is a one of a kind service designed to connect those in need with people that can truly change their lives.
Cast a wishWish Upon A Hero is completely free to its users, allowing everyone who registers the opportunity to cast up to three wishes at a time. Because Wish Upon A Hero is designed to help everyone, wishes can be big or small, elaborate or simple, based on financial need or just asking for a simple favor.
Be a heroWish Upon A Hero is a unique venue for any individual, organization, or company looking to make a difference in someone’s life, or the lives of countless people. Heroes come in all ages and from all walks of life. All of us, from our nation’s most powerful corporations to individual philanthropists, and those with limited financial means, can be someone’s hero:
A man who buys uniforms for his town’s little league team.
A plastic surgeon brings his skill to the aid of an uninsured breast cancer survivor.
A national appliance retailer that donates a refrigerator to a single mom with a newborn.
A groundskeeper at Yankee stadium who helps a woman fulfill her father’s lifelong dream of throwing a single pitch across home plate.
A group of 8th graders that rally behind a fellow student whose home was lost in a fire.
A woman who writes to a man in Seattle to say, “I think I’m the sister you’ve been looking for since we were separated 21 years ago.”
A female soldier stationed in Iraq who says, “yes, I will.”
Once a wish is granted, the hero can choose to remain anonymous, or be formally recognized on the Wish Upon A Hero website.
Sign up and post a Wish or become a Hero today. Everyone can help anyone. "

I HIGHLY reccommend this website. Its 100% free, and leaves you with that feel good feeling. Be a hero or ask for one.

Jinglehopper

So its been a few days since I've blogged. Since then we have replanted flowers in my garden and cleaned it out. In the process we Jayde and Lilly were playing outside and "helping" us. All of a sudden Jayde comes up to me and yells "Mom I found a Jinglehopper!!!" naturally I respond with "You found a what?!?!". So she walks me to the other side of the garden and on the house was a grasshopper! lol. Where she got the name Jinglehopper from I don't know but it was too funny. She and Lilly watched it forever, then out of no where Lilly poked it, and it jumped. They laughed hysterically- it was the cutest thing I've seen in a longtime. Of course I got the camera out and took pictures before the poke.
Tomorrow when its light out I'll take pictures of the garden now that I have flowers in it. It looks a billion times better. Putting them in the ground is only half the battle, now I have to keep them alive. The past two years I put flowers in the ground they died almost immediatly. I'm hoping this year these survive me lol.

Bubbily boredom!

This is what happens when I put just a little bit too much bubbles in the bath tub lol. It ended up all over the floor! (brilliant right?)
So I have nothing new to report other than Jaydes still sick, getting better though. Everything else has been just like every other day... Oh, but I did get some really awesome freebies in the mail yesterday if that counts for anything. I got a Bzz kit from Bzz agent, and it was Clean and clears new product. I really love Bzz agent (www.Bzzagent.com) Ive gotten all kinds of free stuff, and not cheepy samples but full sized products. Good stuff :)
But its that time to go walk to the buss stop- maybe this afternoon Ill have something awesome to blog about.

Coughs and bubbles

She took a break from coughing to blow some massive bubbles. Looks like shes mastered the art of the bubble. That and aggravating Ethan REALLY bad because he cant do it lol!
This picture was taken last night. Jayde and Lilly were SO sleepy, it was a fight to keep them awake.

Jayde of course woke up coughing and crying so she snuggled up to her daddy. Naturally I grabbed the camera. Normally when shes upset or sick she wont let anyone hold her but me.
This is going to be another incredibly short blog because Im cooking dinner. Maybe one day Ill get a decent sized blog out. One day...

Incomplete blog.

Jayde fell asleep on the way home from Grannys house, with her arms behind her. it was SO weird.
My mom taught Jayde how to blow bubbles with gum! I couldn't catch it on camera. But thats a picture of her trying. She so cute!

Sunday... Its a completely random blog!

So its Sunday, the kids go back to school tomorrow... WOOHOO!! So we did normal Sunday stuff, clean, cut coupons, get ready for the week.
Oh and not that I needed a paper to say that I'm excellent, but I got one HAHA! :P
Jayde before the hair cut. I think she looks older with long hair. She really wanted short hair. She says she looks like a Best Buy worker- looks like I've lost another one to the company lol.
Jayde after her hair cut :D She was laughing because Ethan was running around in his underwear.

This is what my living room looks like on a Sunday morning. NEWSPAPER EVERYWHERE. and to think this is AFTER they "cleaned" it lol. Needless to say they had to go back and clean it again. In the process I was able to trick them into helping me clean lol. Thats a rarity around here. Its kind of funny I didn't notice before that Ethan looks like he was reading the paper.
This really awesome lady off of WUAH sent Jayde these jammies, this pretty pink blankie, and the kitty cat that looks JUST like our cat Lucky, she also sent Jayde a tape with nighttime songs on it, but we have to get a tape player, because Jayde has horrible night terrors and wakes up everynight more than once, shes also having issues with what we think is allergies. She slept so well last night. it was awesome. And so super nice of her, its amazing if you open up how kind strangers can be.
Chandlers so silly. Its so hard to get a picture of him being serious- Hes a goofy guy!
Well, that was my Sunday. Off to have dinner.
