I suck... really...

So I get a call this morning about 8:15 am from Chandlers speech teacher, me and John missed Chandlers speech review this morning ( I had put it in my stupid calendar for MAY).Luckily his speech teacher wasn't mad. But still I felt bad. ( but he is doing better and will have to have speech again next year- then hell probably get out of it)
From there the day went great me and the girls had alot of fun. Until about 2:30 I get ANOTHER call from the school telling me that my boys were in the front office at school, because today was early release day and I FORGOT to meet them at the bus stop. I felt horrible. I thought the previous early release was the last one. Guess I was wrong. I was super embarrassed. Unfortunately John had already went to work so I had no way to pick them up. And I couldn't have gotten a cab because I didn't have a car seat for either girl! Luckily John was able to leave work briefly to get them.
It has been one hectic month, between doctors vistits and everything else its crazy. Plus Im using a new agenda and Im completely thrown off. I should have just kept my PDA and used it instead. I was able to keep half organized that way. So it looks like John was right and I should have stayed away from "paper" lol. Its bad, and doesn't help me keep organized. Not in the littlest bit. Hopefully things will get back on schedule soon....
On a completely random note- I was in a crafty mood tonight and decided to make Jayde a dress, and yeah, its funky lol and its tight around her belly. but she still loved it and decided to sleep in it. Ill have to take a picture in the morning of it. Its close to wearable too. Hopefully pretty soon I can make dresses to sell, or atleast for her to wear out lol. Its funny though- no matter how funky it looks or if it really doesn't fit she still absolutely loves whatever I make. Its crazy. and It seems like everyone is so proud of me and my craftiness. Like Chan went to school telling his teacher that she should buy something from me (lol). Its nice to have support for once. I think alot of it is because John see how passionate I am about this business and how I want to succeed. Its great.
Now that Ive rambled on like crazy Im going to bed because Im exhausted. More tomorrow with pictures of Jaydes dress.

I sew!

So I braved it and made Jayde something on the sewing machine. I made her a super cute circle skirt, perfect for twirling and spinning! and a matching one for her baby doll.



Then I made her a skirt, its super cute but needs to be a little bigger. Not bad for my first time:)

Boredom inspired creativity

So on cleaning break today I decided to break out my box of supplies and make some bows.Quite a few of them were super cute... heres some of my new ones.. You can purchase these at MY SHOP (I also do custom orders)


December was being super cute and I decided to "fix" her collar since Lucky tore it up. So I added some awesome Hello Kitty ribbon to it. and BAM, its awesome... now I admit it could be better, but not bad for less than 5 minutes right?


December is alot like Ethan I can rarely get a good picture of her because shes always on the move.Well off to finish Saturday chores :-D

Sticky Goo

Thats what Chandler had all over his head and hair after his EEG today. After the test he was feeling bad (dizzy and such) but the technician couldnt give me the results but he said he wouldnt loose sleep over it. which im guessing means its nothing bad. Im really proud of Chandler he handled it like a big boy, and the doctor gave him a copy of his brain waves and of course now Chandler wants to take it to school to show everyone. I sent it in a big yellow envelope for his teacher so maybe she'll let the class see it.

AHHHHHHHHHHH!

AHH! Ethan and Jayde can be SO aggravating. At dinner this evening, Ethan decides because his ketchup is touching his baked beans that his ketchup AND baked beans are "no good" then of course his meatloaf was bad because his peas were touching it. So him and Jayde start sliding the plate back and forth, before I could even say stop it was ALL over the floor, the wall and the seat. Talk about mad... Oh man I was mad, right now they're both in there rooms and grounded until further notice. It seems like theyve been extra rotten lately and I'm super over it. Just needed to have a quick vent.

Mini update.

Here's a mini update on things around here:
This morning we took Chandler to a Neurologist, he said it looks like a normal childhood tic. But he is sending Chandler to get some test done (he's getting blood work done, an EEG, and an MRI which hell have to be put to sleep for.) The doctor sounded pretty confident that the tests would come back good and Chan would be ok. He's just being cautious by having the tests done, which is great. So I will probably take him tomorrow or Saturday to the place to have his blood drawn. Then next week is his EEG and the MRI isn't till next month because Nemours is so busy and because Chandler does have to be put to sleep we have to wait longer.
John had to work overnight last night, and then come immediately home and drive us across town to Chandlers doctors appointment, then come home and get ready for work and then go in and work and close tonight. I don't know how the heck hes staying awake. I know early this morning he was dead tired, I can only imagine how he is now. He's due to be home soon and I bet hell be right to bed.
Jayde and Ethan are doing great. No news really to report about them.
I've been the same as well. Nothing exciting. I don't have Lilly again till Monday so I get a mini break, but then again shes so great to watch I don't really need one lol.
Well that my "mini" update. :-D

Good grades = fun night!

Yesterday was report card day for the boys and Ethan did good and Chandler didn't get his because he had a substitute teacher. (but we got it today and he got great grade) But Ethan did really well so we took all the kids out to dinner at Beef O Bradys and it was AWESOME. So good that it is now my new favorite! YUM! They had a clown there and the kids all had theyre faces painted. Chandler was a pirate, Ethan was Spiderman, and Jayde was supergirl. They all had balloon swords, but they popped pretty fast lol.



Now an update on Chandler, his tics have became MUCH more frequent so were taking him to a neurologist tomorrow at 10 am so hopefully hell have some answers.

Yesterday we took Jayde to get her physical for school and she ended up having to get FIVE shots. YIKES! But she didn't cry. She actually was super excited because she had glitter band aids lol! After all those shots, she STILL wanted to get her ears pierced. So we took her over to the mall to get them pierced she picked out a nice (expensive) pair of flower earings, and the lady pierced them with no problem at all!!! She said shes never seen a kid be so good about it! but now shes very happy about them and is showing EVERYONE. Im so proud she didn't cry once!
So we go Monday to drop off her paper work and register her for school!

Chandler and Jayde update...

We took Chandler to the doctor yesterday about his "tics" and at first the doctor said it sounds exactly like tourettes, then after seeing Chandler do it he thinks it might be something else, maybe even something that Chandler can control. So were going to try and see if he can do less than 10 a day, if he does he gets a treat. He was really trying hard, but I noticed yesterday that when we were playing outside he was still doing the tic and he says he cant control it. So it looks like well be keeping that appointment with Nemours. I swear he such a sweet man it inst fair all he has to go through. We have to wait until August to get Chandler into Nemours, but if it gets worse the doctor can call and get us in faster. I sure hope its something easy that they can fix.

On a completely diffrent note, we take Jayde Monday to register her at the boys school to register her for kindergarten. I know when we drop her off for her first day of kindergarten I'm going to cry like a baby, I almost did with Ethan. Where does the time go? I seems like just the other day she was a little baby. They grow WAY too fast. :-( we take her tomorrow morning to have her physical done, to register her. Shes SO excited.

We went outside to play baseball... Naturally we lost the ball lol. So we ended up just doing flips and running. Lilly picks up the HUGE bat and wacks Ethan dead in the face lol! Shame I didn't get a picture of that, it was super funny.

Random blogginess... :-P

I have never been happier for my kids to go back to school. Ethan drove me absolutely insane today, all he wanted to do was flip and jump off of anything and everything in sight. It was nuts! On top of not listening to one single word I said. Chandler on the other hand was awesome, for some reason he went on a cleaning spree and cleaned the entire kitchen, probably better than I would do lol!! And Jayde, well she didn't do much of anything either way today.
Oh, today Lucky decided to bring me a present inside...a dead lizard. E WWW! Naturally I had Ethan carry it out to the trash because I was too freaked out lol. But seriously Yuck, why the heck would she want to eat a lizard if she could have her cat food, I cannot imagine that it tastes better than that. I've always heard of animals bringing they're people presents, but none of my animals have ever done that, until now. I guess now I have to check her anytime she comes in from the garage.
Oh and I started another new blog today. This one is a little different though. POSTAL HAPPINESS I'm making it a goal of mine to make as many people smile as possible. So if you thing you want to help, or be helped contact me please. I hope it works out as well as I plan it to.
I'm going to run and enjoy the silence now that the kids are asleep. ((THANK GOD!))

Ending spring break with primary colors.

So I was brave yesterday and suited the kids up with white tee shirts, and pulled out the paint. My kids thought they were all smart grabbing the paint brushes, and Lilly and Clayton grabbed the Q tips. BRILLIANT!- Theyre pictures werent all smudged lol. my kids are dorks.

So that was our end to Spring Break. The loved it. I can't wait till summer so that we can go outside and play alot. With the pollen I had to keep them in alot. I've already got a long list of activities to do. It's going to be awesome. (should I be this excited???) lol!
Well back to school they go, and my house can be clean again :P

Tooo awesome!

So when I was younger my mom read me this book almost nightly. And it became our "thing" to say "Always & forever" instead of love you. Its been like this every since I was little. Once I heard she was so sick I went onto Etsy and asked to have something made for each of us. I found an awesome person who made something completely cool....

I'm a survivor

I'm a survivor of Spring Break 2008! Today is the last day of Spring Break and I have to say over all the week went pretty well considering I had 5 kids here. We did have a ton of fun though.

For the record I did NOT dress Chandler- I actually told him to change, but of course he didn't listen.
The Dora theme song can make little girls SUPER happy lol.
