So I recieved a lovely package in the mail today. and the second that I open the box I was in love. I have never recieved a bath salt (or any other bath product) that smelt so good!


Now I wish that I had ordered more. Check out basicbodys The products look great.they smell great, and they were very carefully packaged. She also has some cotton candy splash that I will be trying next. I love cotton candy- YUM! I searously highly reccommend this seller- All around an A+ in my book :D

Wow.. I had forgotten how cold 30 degrees could be lol! man its FREEZING out. (and thats rare for Florida) I bought the kids gloves and jackets as normal- but wow- they need scarfs hats.. and all those goodies! So Im wondering how people up north are dealing with the cold cold weather...Brrrr

well its up....

My christmas tree that is. it took me three days lol but its up. its been up for about a week now,bare. hopefully I can talk john into stringing the lights since I cannot reach the top. last year we had a teeny tiny tree, so we are all very excited about this huge one. plus well get to make a ton of ornaments!
I already have handmade presents (thanks etsy sellers) over flowing from my christmas hiding spot. I espwcially can't wait to get them under the tree.
you wouldn't believe alk the awesome stuff I got off etsy. crayon caddys, cute soap, baby carriers. you name it! oh how I love etsy!!!

Who doesn't LOVE new crayons?

So today we went and got new crayons for the kids. We came across these cool triangle shape  crayons (which of course Jayde picked those out). They are so neat- They fit perfectly in her little hands!! Shes 5, but tiny- its a shame they didnt come out with these sooner!

Chandler chose some plastic covered colored pencils, and thankfully Ethan chose some erasable colored pencils. Because normally when he messes up he throws a fit! Hopefully this will cure that.

But Ive got to run Ive got some stir fry and noodles on the stove.. YUM!

Time to give...

So the holidays are quickly approaching.. Alot parents are excited to buy gifts for theyre children to open on Christmas morning so they can see that beautiful smile on theyre childs face. But often parent are faced with the decision, pay light bill? pay rent? buy groceries? and very often buying presents isnt an option.  And its sad. I know its not about the material things. But you try telling that to the sad little boy running down stairs on christmas morning to see what santa brought him only to his surprise santa didn't come at all. The thought of that is saddening to me. 

I very often visit a website called www.wishuponahero.com I even had it featured on the local news here. I already see alot of parent pleading for help.  Last Christmas I was able to help one single mom and her precious little boy, I remember he was so sweet and quiet and shy about accepting the gift. Then last easter me and my kids made up Easter baskets and dropped them off at a local lower income housing office for a family in need. 

The joy it gave my children alone is enough to make me want to do it again. But this year I hope to make a larger impact. Dont get me wrong we still are struggling like everyone else, but I think we can skimp on some things we dont "need" as much and make some families very happy.  

So this begins, my search for the right family to help, which is super hard because I want to help them all. Im hoping if I start early this year we will be able to help out more families.  And if you have the chance and the means please consider doing the same. :)

Scary!

As I was at the kids bus stop waiting for them and playing on my cell phone I saw a man on a motorcycle, with something on his back.... and the stop happens to be near a red light so he stopped and I could see what was on his back... a VERY small boy. maybe 3-4 years old at the most. To me that is absolutely terrifying!! I so would never let my kids do that. God what if that poor baby fell off?? what is wrong with people???? Seriously! So aggravating.. Ok thats my vent for the day.

My weekend summary

Boy what a long weekend. I had absolutely no idea how bad it is to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed. OUCH! but Im going into day three, so I should be able to have more solid like foods. Which I am so totally excited about! I want the biggest hamburger EVER! LOL. Weird cravings.
But I was able to get a ton of work caught back up, and quite a few really great designs to be posted tomorrow!!
Johns heading to Orlando tomorrow for a meeting and the kids have school. So I will be listings new designs like crazy.... Including one that will be a HUGE hit for little girls. Its top secret so I cant give all the details out though. :D
Well Im dead tired, and have a ton of work for tomorrow... So Im going to bed. Good night all! :D
