Wacky weather

Boy we have had a lot of really weird weather here in Florida- First its like 20 degrees out for like a week. which is really weird for this time of year. Now its in the 60s and raining like crazy. And tomorrow its supposed to be getting cold again. I guess theres no chance of me pulling out the spring clothes yet. 

Hows the weather everywhere else? Is it this crazy?

A local favorite

I stumbled upon a SUPER cute shop that is in my home town. The clothes are super cute. Not to mention the little model is georgous! The shops name is HoneyBunnyDesigns. She also has some really excellent paintings that would be great for your little ones room.

Ive been watching rockerbabys shop for a long while now, and this morning I stumbled across one of theyre dresses in Etsy search and it was too cute not to post! Im seriously thinking about getting Jayde one. 

They look very well made, and the style is one of a kind! Check out her shop its super cute! And for those of you with little boys she has stuff for you as well, including some adorable blankets. The fabric on them is SO cute!!

I love gnomes

I love Gnomes... and I came across some SUPER awesome gnome soap on Etsy. I found it on LoveLeeSoaps . After seeing these cute little guys Im half tempted to redo the kids bathroom to a gnome theme. Right now we have ducks and fish and such- and neon (yes VERY neon) yellow. but that a whole nother blog all together.
But LoveLeeSoaps has some really cute designed soaps like, popcorn, dear,puzzle pieces, french fries and SO much more. Its a really cute shop. And for those of yall who have never used homemade soap you are really missing out. It works out better than any store bought that Ive ever used. Plus you can get them in cute designs like these AWESOME gnomes!

Ew? mom spit?

You know when your kids get something funky on theyre face and naturally you have nothing to wipe theyre face with so you lick your finger and wipe theyre face. I cant name how many times my mom did that to me (ewww!)and Ive caught myself doing that to my kids from time to time. 

But this evening I came across the cutest products name- or well product.  called MomSpit . 

No more passing spit to a childs face. I think I need some!!

or maybe a wet wipe... either way lol!

So here is the skirt I made Jayde. Not too bad right? She liked it. and heck she even had shoes to match it lol!! 

IS it love?

I think so. So if you havent heard google has a new tool to help sellers. called Google Analytics. I recently added my Etsy page to it. So I could see how many people are viewing my page and such. BUt wow it has WAY more features.. heck i can even see what internet provider the people who visit me have, what type of OS they have and all! Sorry if I seem incredibly excited, but I just think its so cool that I can find all of this "useful" information out all on one page. 

Whats even more insane is that is FREE!  So if your a seller check out google analytics. Its defiantly cool , if for nothing else for entertainment purposes lol!

Oh as for my sewing project.... I turned out AWESOME! MY princess is wearing her new high school musical skirt to school right now- when she gets home I will take pictures I will post them up here and you guys can tell me what you think. Personally it was a huge triumph for me. Learning to sew was one of my goals for 2009- so far so good I think. Im hoping to get a little better at it and make some for the little princess that I babysit during the day. Shes such a cutie and is impressed with everything I make. which is awesome, my bunch seems bored by what I make lol. Thats kids for you I guess..

But for now Im going to go and listen to Britney Spears (thats right I admitted it) while I package up some orders. Happy Thursday- Thank god its almost Friday! 

yep you heard right..

Im going to attempt to sew... another skirt for Jayde. Last attempt with sewing went ok. I mean I completely forgot to hem the bottom of the skirt I was sewing lol! 

So I bought this adorable pillow case dress... but the fit was kinda... um.. weird. So I plan on cutting it and making a skirt for Jayde, and possibly an appliqued shirt.If I can pull it off.

If I can I will post pictures of her in it :D 

But I spent my evening in the doctors office with Jayde so Im going to go enjoy my coffee and browse the web. I hope everyone is having a terrific hump day!

Happy Inauguration day!

Happy inauguration day! I have to admit this is the first inauguration Ive ever seen (granted Im only 25) but I have to say its going to take alot to top this one! 

I do find it quite aggravating that people are making fun of him because he "messed up" when he was being sworn in. Honestly to me that just made him more "real" to me. Heck I couldnt have repeated all that lol. and I defiantly couldnt have ended it with a speech like that!

I cant wait to see  all the great effects that our new president will have on us, and best of all the world! 

I want to take a moment and smile because Bush is gone :D 

Bravo america were on the right track now! All thats missing is some super duper cute Supa Designs hair clips in his daughters hair (lol- shameless plug lmao!)

Its that time of year again!

Yep, tonight is the season premier of American Idol. And Im not going to deny that I absolutely LOVE the show. Well atleast the first few episodes! Especially this year, because they came to my city, and I cannot wait to see if there anyone I know making a fool of themselves lol. 

I plan on letting the kids stay up to watch it too, because they like watching reruns of it. :D yay

Ah.. children..

So yesterday Jayde came home from school without her glasses. I rushed back up to the school in hopes that we would find them. but we looked every where and didnt. So I called her doctor and it will cost about $150ish to replace them. which we REALLY dont have. So now Jaydes going without her glasses until some miracle can happen and we can get some money. Im crossing my fingers. 

On a happier note- I have some new stuff in my Etsy shop..

Happy Monday Morning!

Boy am I glad its monday! The kids are all back to school, its nice and quiet and somewhat clean lol. It was dreary most of the weekend.but on Sunday once the rain let up and a tiny bit of sunshine came out we decided to venture out to a new park that I found online. 

Its pretty close to our house. We pulled into the park and there was two HUGE football/soccer fields, and a smaller play area... We were really let down just surprised.  The I saw that the road went back even further. We were told that there was a boat loading ramp and we thought we would take the kids to look at the water first. and as we rounded the corner, to what appeared to lead to a boat ramp was the biggest most awesome park EVER! (Even I wanted to play) 

It was one of those OMG moments! The kids were instantly in love with this massive park. and I have to say it was really luck that I drove back further and found it. Now we have a crazy fun park close to the house. I know it sounds weird that Im so excited over a park, but we lived here for almost a year before I could find a park, then by accident I find one that is less than 2 blocks away. lol. 

Also I am very excited to announce that I have a new line of products that will be releasing very soon. Possibly this week!! Its in "beta" this week lol, my daughter is testing them.

So I finally took the time this morning and updated my blog. A whole new look for 2009. Simple.  I kind of like it- I still have to add some widgets but over all I LOVE it. what do yall think?

Not only is it amazingly adorable, but it has a matching key fob! It holds just the right amount of stuff, I can fit my cell, keys all all the credit cards with room to spare- I need to visit her shop ASAP to get another one. Honestly I have never bought a handmade purse before and I was worried about its quality, but the clutch is amazingly made. I dont think I would ever consider buying any bag other than handmade now. I mean think about it- Im the only one who has it... isnt that awesome? If you get a chance check out her shop- her prices are really reasonable for the awesome product you get.

So for Christmas jayde got this adorable apron. (bought from CustomKids and last night she got to use it. She cooked pretty much everything, We had rice, teriyaki chicken broccoli and corn. She was beyond  happy. and it was super fun. 

If you've never hear of CustomKids I HIGHLY recommend her, she has some really well made children's accessories! Now I have to get the boys cooking aprons because everyone has decided that we I need help cooking each night :D
