Im so excited!

So I ordered one of these ADORABLE baby doll carriers from Lovey Duds 

I just got the notice that it has been shipped and Im beyond excited- I know that Jayde is going to adore it!  Not only are the carriers crazy cute- and for the ultimate stylish mom (and kid) but the seller is AMAZING. great communication, very friendly, and all around very professional. I think this is by far the best experience I have had on Etsy thus far. anywho...

So I have ultra curly hair, and the other day I finally broke down and bought a straightening iron to do my hair, and WOW what a difference it makes. I look all cleaned up and nice lol. So tomorrow Im going to get a hair cut and get rid of all of my horrible split ends. I think its been something like 3 years or so since Ive had a hair cut. Matter of fact the last time I had it cut it turned out VERY badly. I told the hair cutter that I wanted a change and she literally cut ALL my hair off- dang hair cuttery. Nothing like looking like a guy to make me not want to get a hair cut lol! 

And John has tomorrow off- so I think Im going to try and talk him into taking me to LaNopalera for lunch- they have the best mexican food EVER. Just the thought of it makes my mouth water. And on that note Im heading to bed- to read the new book I got.

So yesterday we celebrated my boys birthdays. Chandler turned 8 on Jan 31st and Ethan with be 7 on Feb 26th. I cannot believe how fast they grow. Too fast. I can remember holding both of them after they were born as if it were yesterday *cries*

We did last year and so throughly enjoyed it that we are going to do it again this year. When I annouced to the kids tonight that it was coming soon on March 28th at 8:30pm they went crazy.

It looks like they have a website for children now as well and my kids are going to be so excited.

Last year I said we should do it more often, instead of once a year and I truely think we should- not just my family but the entire world. can you imagine the effects if we did this just twice a year?

Im hoping that I can contact some local people to get this hyped up some more. If my children find it this enteresting Im sure other people and kids will too.

1. I completely addicted to the gas stations cappuccino. (I'm on my second 24 oz for the day)

2. I always have a notebook paper next to my mouse that I doodle on almost constantly.

3. I LOVE music. Some of my favorites are Elton John and Kanye West.

4. I was 17 when I had my oldest son, 18 when I had my middle son and 19 when I had my daughter.

5. My "workspace" is a total mess all the time- from *important* papers to ribbon.

6. I'm a Apple. (lol)

7. I have a 1973 Volkswagen Type 3 Squareback named Frankenstein that John bought me a few years ago.

8. My best friend is my mom.

9. I save ALL my kids school work.

10. I'm dyeing for Coraline to come out.

11. I used to have a cat named Kurt- named after Kurt Cobain.

12.  Ive been married to my husband John for 6  1/2 years and Ive been with him for 9 years. We met in middle school.

13. I love liver- but I wont cook it because it looks so gross uncooked.

14. I have a "valley girl" - and I sound like I'm 12. Even though Ive lived in the deep south all my life. 

15. I love shopping. sometimes TOO much.

16. I've worked for JcPenney, Food Lion, Hewlett Packard, and Sony and now I work for my self!

17. I grew up on a side of town referred to as "Sin City" and I'm one of the few that made it out "normal". 

18. I have no tattoo's but Ive had my tongue pierced twice.

has a good variety of really awesome kids stuff. I know personally my daughter would LOVE this guitar shirt.  It just screams awesome. 

I she also has this really cool blanket, I love the color combination- which it looks like she invested a good amount of time to produce a blanket this great. Plus her prices are great, considering how much Im time Im sure she put into her products.

I stumbled across the cutest Etsy shop yesterday and I have to share it! If only I had children small enough for them!
They are made by Bitzyboots.  These would be an excellent addition to your little ones spring wardrobe! 

Absolutely awesome!

I stumbled upon a really great Etsy shop today. If I had the means I would buy one of everything in the shop! ekohdesign
They have these really great carry alongs. That could have an endless amount of uses- but I love the idea of using them for children to tote toys around the house. it would also be great to use when its time for the kids to clean, it would make it much easier.

They also have these absolutely gorgeous tins! I can think of atleast 10 places in my house Id like to have these!
So take a moment and check out ekihdesigns . They have an excellent selection and even better prices. You cant find design and affordibility for this price anywhere else. This is especially impressive considering its a relatively new shop. All the items appear if they were made by a seasoned crafter/designer. This is definantly a shop you dont want to miss out on.

Personally Jayde (my 5 year old ) is BEGGING me to keep them for her. She was who tested the other designs out and absolutely adores all the ones I have made her.

Good Tuesday Morning!

Well today is report card day in my house..

I have 2 first graders and a kindergartener so hopefully we get some really great grades.

So Im wondering how other people reward theyre children for good grades. Before it was money- but now Im thinking i should go another route with that..... any ideas?
