I should have went....

So apparently my middle sons old kindergarten teacher ran into my husband at work and they were talking about the school closing at the end of this school year... and turns out that had enough parents shown up and showed support at the meeting that the school probably would have stayed open.
Now that totally aggravates me because they barely let it be known that the meeting was being held, but they defiantly didn't stress the importance. Since the meeting was on the same day as Ethan's birthday I didn't attend it. Had I known how important it was I would have went and got some parents to come along with and fight it.
Needless to say the school is still scheduled to be closed. It was school #57 and it was built in 1921, super cool. Its really a shame to see it go. :(

Do you know what May 10th is?

MOTHERS DAY!
and its creeping up fast! SO I've searched high and low and found some awesome things on Etsy that would be perfect for mothers day. and I want to share it with everyone.

I found a shop that sells great candles, and one especially for Mothers day with a great poem on the front. I found them at Simplypuresoycandles. She has many many types to choose from. And what mom doesn't enjoy a good candle? Especially one that will make her smile.
I also found these family stones. They would make an excellent addition for the mom who has everything. They are made by sjengraving. She even has Garden stones, and beautiful necklaces.
And dont forget to get her a beautiful card.Like this BEAUTIFUL card by Jillybeangreetings. She has many to choose from all that are absolutely gorgeous. The colors on the card are guaranteed to make your special mom smile.

Oh how my garden grows

So my yard has a new addition. A vegetable garden.
My mother and father in law spent ALOT of time creating it- and John did too whenever he had a chance off work. It wasnt planted in the ground long before tiny little sprouts started to come up. the kids are extremely excited. They were able to help plant corn and its starting to get taller its about 3-4 inches tall now. Its really cool to watch grow.
Wonder how many other people have gardens? Id love to see them in any of my followers have some.

I love movie night

Last night was pizza and movie night. I kept one of the boys friends last night as well. So we got ice cream and cookies (real healthy huh?) and ran up to RedBox and rented Bedtime stories. It was super duper cute the kids also enjoyed it too so it was a win win :D
We typically get our movies from Netflix. So if anyone has some good movie names to share with me thatd be awesome. Im running out of movie ideas that Id want to see lol.
